This is one of those simple beverages that the more you drink it the more you like it… Unlike the drinks we buy this grapefruit lemonade is healthy, very quick and easy to make and super good.
Traditional lemonade is well known as a refreshing thirst-quencher, quite addictive for citruses lovers like me.
Grapefruit is slightly bitter but along with the sweetness of the maple syrup it is delicious. The key is the sparkling water that makes this lemonade even more different and appealing…
A great option to replace processed drinks that are packed with preservatives and artificial sweeteners that does not provide anything good. I encourage you to make it, you’ll love this sparkling grapefruit lemonade!:D
INGREDIENTS: (Makes 1 litre)
- 2 lemons
- 2 grapefruits
- 4 or 5 tbsp. maple syrup
- 500 ml. cold sparkling water
- 200 ml. cold still water
- Ice cubes
PREPARATION:
- Squeeze the lemons and grapefruits and pour the juice in a cristal bottle or jar (strain the juice if you don’t like it with pulp).
- Add the maple syrup and stir well. (Add more syrup if you like it sweeter).
- Incorporate the sparkling and still water.
- Refrigerate for a couple of hours or serve with some ice cubes.
