So the summer is finally coming to an end... and before that happens we are going to use the last wild blackberries to make this blackberry and grape smoothie. As always super healthy and easy to do!
Smoothies are kind of timeless but using frozen fruit makes a very nice sort of fruit "frappé" , very appealing when we still enjoy good weather. When the bananas are getting too ripe, I put them in the fridge so I can use them for my smoothies. Berries are also very good to freeze and it's always convenient to have some in your fridge so you can make a smoothie anytime you feel like it and there are no fresh ones.
INGREDIENTS :
· 1 1/2 cups of blackberries
· 1 ripe banana
· 10 black or red grapes without seeds
· 1 tsp. chia seeds
· 150 ml almond milk
· 150 ml water
PREPARATION :
1. Leave the chia seeds to soak in water for 30 minutes
2. Blend the blackberries, grapes, banana and chia seeds until it gets smooth.
3. Add the water and milk depending on how thick you like it, and mix it up.
