Looks like there are still some cool days to come before the spring officially arrives. On rainy days and chilly afternoons there's nothing more tempting and comforting than a nice cup of hot chocolate, specially for the chocolate lovers.
Before we start getting ready for the summer with light, refreshing and other diets it is worth to indulge yourself with this spiced hot chocolate, whether it is for breakfast or in the afternoon...
The spices and the chocolate merge perfectly and although it can be surprising and odd for some of you the spicy touch of the cayenne pepper and the pinch of salt intensify the flavour a lot. You can of course increase and adapt the amount of spices to your personal taste!
To me the best way to sweeten it would be using maple syrup because of its special and unique flavour in addition of being 100% natural.
Could not be more simple and quick to make... Fancy making it?! ;)
