BLUEBERRY AND PEAR SMOOTHIE



There are not many fruits that apart from being tasty prove to be healthy, beautiful and colorful as my beloved blueberries

Blueberries contain a huge amount of antioxidants as well as having astringent and antiseptic properties, improve blood circulation and many other good properties and benefits for our health. Native Americans already used them centuries ago to benefit from its medicinal properties for urinary infections.
Today we prepared this delightful blueberry and pear smoothie that is perfect for breakfast or as a snack if you prefer, super easy and healthy!


 BLUEBERRY AND PEAR SMOOTHIE



INGREDIENTS:
  • 125 gr. blueberries
  • 4 pears
  • 1 small piece of fresh ginger
  • 1 tsp coconut oil (optional)
  • 1 glass of cold rice milk
  • 1 pinch of ground cinnamon

 BLUEBERRY AND PEAR SMOOTHIE


STEPS:
  1. Wash and remove the pear cores and cut them into pieces.
  2. Cut and peel a piece of fresh ginger.
  3. Put everything on a mixer along with the blueberries, milk, coconut oil and cinnamon and blend until it gets smooth.
  4. Add more milk or water if you like it less dense.

*Little tricks and tips*
You can use frozen blueberries to make a colder smoothie, you can freeze them in advance or buy them already frozen.
