There's no secret I love smoothies, smoothie bowls and everything that has fruit and veggies on it. In the blog you can find a couple of other nice bowls made with strawberries and coconut and another one with açaí, banana and blueberries, as well as many smoothies to drink.
It's funny because every time I experiment with new bowl recipes I think oh this one is even better than the previous one... :D This papaya, carrot and yogurt wasn't any different, I was even impressed myself, it is so good and creamy... So that's why I think we never have to be afraid of experimenting with different combinations because there are so many and so good the possibilities are endless...
I love papaya and eat it a lot, sometimes just plain some others I love it with a splash of lime juice... It has a high amount of fiber wich is excellent in cases of constipation, and also has papain, a digestive enzyme that improves digestion. It is anti-inflamatory, contains vitamin C and beta carotene which is a good ally for our skin and immune system.
I normally use rice or almond milk for my smoothies however this time I had a couple of plain soy yogurt just about to expire so I decided to try adding them and the result was just amazing. A thick and super creamy smoothie to have with a spoon that is absolutely yummy.
If you use frozen banana you'll have a fresher and even creamier smoothie however you can use a regular banana and it will work just fine. If you want it for breakfast you can leave it done the night before and keep it in the fridge.
Just ad the toppings before you eat it and... done!
